Consolation prayer to Jesus

O good and merciful Jesus Christ, Who offered Himself as a sacrificial lamb for the salvation of mankind, we console You. In humility You surrendered to the Jewish soldiers who dragged You like a criminal, mercilessly to the merciless, O good God, to be judged by man. We console You, O Agonizing Jesus Christ, for all these insults received in the world's courts. We console You for all the cruel torments You suffered from Your people. May You be adored forever. Amen
