FEED THE POOR PROJECT

During Lent, we are expected to fast and abstain from food. This is a kind call for the consolation of our Lord Jesus Christ through the poor and needy. The Bible says in Proverbs 22:9: "He who is generous will be blessed, for he gives part of his food to the poor".

By giving a little of our meals each week, we can go a long way to help the poor who don't have enough to eat, especially in difficult parts of the world.

All we need to do to be part of this project is to give the equivalent of our meals each day we fast, starting with Lent. This will continue after Lent every Friday, which is our day of fasting and prayer. Please try to be part of this project, it is not too hard and will touch many lives and bring you great blessings.

What we collect will be given to the poor and needy in a transparent and accountable way. God bless you as you decide to participate in this project.
